Overview. The W126’s tube-and-fin condenser was built for R-12. This kit replaces it with a parallel-flow unit designed for R-134a, with every bracket and line needed to fit it. No special tools, cutting or drilling.

Features

  • Made from 100% Pure Unobtainium alloy, but we still offer it!
  • 4-pass parallel-flow core, about 30% more efficient than stock
  • W126-specific brackets in 16-gauge stainless steel
  • Stainless condenser rail screws
  • Custom liquid line that connects directly to the stock drier

Product FAQs

How do I tell Type A from Type B?

Look at where the hoses connect to your current condenser, as described in the fitment table.

My car has two aux fans. Will it fit?

Not as-is. Convert to a single aux fan, or use our Maradyne aux fan kit.

Does it fit my 560SEL?

Visually verify which type your car has. Check where the hoses connect to your current condenser (see the fitment table), or contact us to confirm.

I don't understand how the receiver drier line connects to your kit. How does it work?

We use a flexible line (pictured in the product photo gallery) that runs from the condenser output fitting (on the bottom of the condenser) and connects straight into the fitting on the receiver drier. This elegant approach reduces the risk of leaks and eliminates the short stock hose that was previously used to make the connection.
