Overview. Bosch duo-valves and their repair kits are no longer made, and rebuilt units still stick at high RPM. Each BVX-7 / BVX-8 is built to order as a reliable replacement. Lead times apply of up to 6o days.

Fitment

Fits W126 and some R107 with a Bosch duovalve. Whether your car has a duovalve, and which one, depends on the market and options it was built with, so we don’t list individual models. Verify by part number or visually before ordering: check your car’s part number in Mercedes EPC and match it to the cross-reference list below, or see the product image showing the top view of the valve mounted in the car, which shows how to tell the 3-barb BVX-7 and 4-barb BVX-8 apart.

  • W126: either the BVX-7 or the BVX-8 may fit, depending on your car.
  • R107: only the BVX-7 fits, and only if your car was fitted with a duovalve. Most R107s use a monovalve: see the BVX-2 (#15).
